Maybe I misunderstand, but this wouldn't detect situations where the neck/frets were high or low compared to frets that are several frets away, correct? Nut slots needed some work as well. The nut was SUPER high out of the box, but I would prefer that to having a nut that is way too low. Granted, the holes for the tuning machines needed resizing and the base of the neck had to be shaved down to fit the body joint. At this price point, don't expect perfection, but it is easily worked into a decent neck. I reshaped the headstock to look a little more like a tele. Frets needed significant work as well. I didn't expect a great guitar neck, but had hoped for one good enough to put a beater guitar together. Kmise Neck came in today! I bumped this review up to four stars after installing it and adding a String Butler to the headstock. It was a perfect fit into the neck pocket, so after piloting neck screw holes it was secured in place. You can still see all customer reviews for the product.
