I think a modern day Assassin’ Creed could have been really cool if they’d have made the Desmond gameplay really interesting. The whole scene ends with Desmond saying “I am Desmond Miles, I am an Assassin”, playing ac series with ancient setting and modern setting is almost like a trademark of ac.
